Murray Wise is a national authority on farmland investment, valuation and management. 

He has been featured on national television and radio stations and addressed several national conferences related to agribusiness. 

He has written two books on investing in agriculture real estate and has had many articled published in the industry press.  Murray Wise’s journey from a Canadian farm boy to leader of the nation’s premier agricultural asset management firm reflects dedication, talent and leadership. 

Further, Murray believes those qualities must be nurtured in the future leaders of American agriculture.  To that end, he established and funded the Westchester Foundation.  The private foundation’s mission is to provide agricultural college scholarship assistance to individuals who demonstrate the sort of talent, commitment and leadership which can maintain and expand American agriculture’s preeminent position in the world economy.  

Integrity is the additional personal quality which is reflected in Murry’s record of business and personal success.  Those who work with him seem to recognize instinctively that he says what he means.  Perhaps that is why he is as comfortable taking soil types with Iowa farmers as he is at portfolio management with pension fund professionals.  In either situation, it’s clear the Murray Wise is one of the most effective leaders in American agriculture.
